Araucaria Meeting 2019, Concepción, Chile

The Araucaria Meeting is a biennial event that brings together astronomers from Poland, France, Italy, Germany, the USA, and Chile, who work on the calibration of the cosmic distance scale and related topics. This time 24 participants met in Concepción, Chile for three fruitful days on March 6-8, 2019.

It was a real pleasure to see familiar and new faces, discuss familiar and new topics and share common time with these ambitious, ingenious and brilliant scientists. We are looking forward to seeing you again in 2021 and, in the meantime, we will do our best to transform all new ideas, that appeared at the meeting, into projects and research.
