Successful PhD defense of Piotr Wielgórski
We are honored and delighted to announce that on Friday, October 28, 2022, a long-time member of the Araucaria Project, Piotr Wielgórski, defended his PhD dissertation and was awarded a doctoral degree by Centrum Astronomiczne im. M. Kopernika PAN (CAMK PAN). Piotr will continue working in the CAMK PAN and within the Araucaria Project on the classical and type II Cepheids.
