New PhD student in Warsaw, Poland
We are happy to welcome Gonzalo Rojas – a new PhD student in Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Center, Warsaw, Poland.
Gonzalo was part of Stellar variability group (SVG) in Universidad de Concepción, Chile, where he developed the search of new DPV (a kind of binary star) candidates toward the galactic bulge. Currently he is a new member of Araucaria Project as PhD student since 2019, where he expect to work in the calibration and measurement of distance scales using binary systems.
