European Research Council Proof of Concept grant for the project „Autonomous Observatories”

Congratulations to prof. Pietrzyński and the IT team from the Araucaria Project for winning the prestigious European Research Council Proof of Concept grant for the project „Toward Autonomous Observatories” (AutObs).

The grant will be used to further automatise and optimise workflow at the Observatory Cerro Murphy in Chile, increasing the efficacy and efficiency of collecting high-quality data by 30%. And it can be introduced in other observatories, too!
