New senior researcher in CAMK Warsaw, Poland
Ricardo Salinas obtained his PhD at the Universidad de Concepción in Chile. Since then, he worked at the Finnish Centre for Astronomy with ESO, Michigan State University, and the Gemini Observatory. His research has meandered between galaxy dynamics, globular clusters and stellar variability. Currently, he is mostly focused on different aspects of binarity in RR Lyrae stars; as well as the application of speckle interferometry refining distance indicators.
