No! It was… Falcon 9 😉
On Wednesday, May 8 at 6:42 p.m. UTC, Falcon 9 launched 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. A later stage of this event has been caught on the all-sky camera at OCM. Check the video below!
The video shows a bright blurry glowing point, moving at orbital speed over the sky from south to north. We believe that it was the planned burning of the second stage of Falcon 9 rocket upon the re-entry to the atmosphere some 8 hours after its launch.
