Wolfgang Gieren awarded Barba Prize
The Barba Prize is awarded for outstanding contributions to the development of astronomy in Chile. This year at the XVIII Meeting of Chilean Astronomical Society (La Sociedad Chilena de Astronomía, SOCHIAS) the prize was given to two esteemed astronomers: Miguel Roth and our beloved Araucarian – Wolfgang Gieren.
